Transmission or Engine issue?
 

2008, 70k miles. Seems like it is slipping in or about 3rd/4th gear. Engine revs up, let off/on gas eventually kicks into gear. Also, two times reverse would not engage. And, some times rough idle at stop light.

Not sure if it is engine issue or transmission. No check engine or other lights are coming on.

Comments and/or similar experience welcome.

Did you ever get this issue resolved? Sounds like the Transmission to me!

Thankfully, the car was still under warranty and the repair was covered. It ended-up being the wave plate (not sure I am saying that correctly?). I did a bunch of research and apparently this is a common issue with the transmission for my car.
